We sure had a taste of winter with it being in the 20's early this morning. I really noticed how cold it was when showing an acreage around 8:00 am and finding frozen puddles of water while turning into the owner's gravel driveway.
It happened to be a "fly-over" showing due to the amount of work the buyers felt they'd have to do, along with th … continue reading

Always First-time Buyers
The wind we had this morning was enough to blow a person down the street along with all the other debris that was flying about. The gusts were even all the more frightening when they suddenly came up in strength to where I had to make sure I wasn't near any trees because I could see their tops swaying pretty hard. What made my anxiety worse, was … continue reading

Goo Year
You couldn't have found me anymore disgusted than I was when awakening early this morning and finding it raining AGAIN! And of course the skies didn't clear off until past noon, but at least it did warm up into the 60's in spite of the chilling wind. When speaking to a well known who lives out of State this afternoon, it sounds like these crazy … continue reading

I was still Moo-ved
There must've been another light freeze last night due to there being frost on some of the rooftops and lawns around our City this morning. Fortunately, once the sun climbed high enough, the temps rapidly rose to where it turned into a very pleasant afternoon. Let's hope these days continue at least until our farmers get their crops out.
Jus … continue reading

An Eagle’s Viewpoint
If only it were a little warmer today, it would've been a pleasant one, but unfortunately, the wind was blowing just enough to make my nose run whenever outdoors. Fortunately I was blessed with several opportunities to be out in the countryside on appointments which I always enjoy. I don't think I'll ever grow weary of bucolic settings, which i … continue reading

A Game of Pool?
It actually got above 60 degrees today and the sun was even shining! Thank goodness for small miracles, and while I was out on appointments, I noticed a great number of people working in their yards. It's no wonder they were due to the endless days of rain that just wouldn't stop. I'm hoping and praying these warmer days and wind will help dr … continue reading

It’s a Mainstay
I can tell it's going to be some time for me to grow accustomed to this cold weather. Seems each year it takes about 2+ weeks to comfortably endure the cold, and then another two weeks on the opposite side to get myself acclimated to the heat, so when you think about it, there's about a month out of my life every year in which my body has to work … continue reading

We’ve got Snow!
If there was ever was a funky Sunday, I'd say this one was a classic. It seemed like all my plans went awry from the start of my day to where that's all I later did was just go with the flow of it instead of trying to get plans back on track that continued to derail.
This was my Sunday morning to play the organ and piano at St. Paul Lutheran C … continue reading

38 N. Willowgreen Court
Alas the sun was shining for about four hours today which was better than nothing considering our many days without. The leaves have certainly been falling all the more since yesterday morning's frost which means we've got some raking to do.
Having seen at least ten deer within our city limits today, I'm staying exceptionally hopeful there'll … continue reading

Artificial Intelligence
We can chalk up our early morning of the 12th of October 2018 as being our first noticeable freeze because at 6:30 this morning, my outside digital thermometer read 29 degrees. For sure, we'll be seeing some definite signs of Fall. Now lets all hope the rain has stopped long enough for our area's fields to dry out so the farmers can get their cro … continue reading
