What They Truly Deserve

Yikes! It sure was a bone-chiller outdoors today, and luckily I didn’t have to be out in it more than three times, which offered me more free hours to get additional office work done.

There were random moments today when looking out the front windows at my office, and seeing the air appearing fog-like, but then noticing the lightest and smallest of snowflakes blowing around, which I thought quite remarkable because I can’t say I’ve ever seen such a happening, and especially when it took place at least three times over the course of the day. It was kinda cool, but also creepy.

I finally managed to get all the documents I was needing for tomorrow’s closing, so my file is now complete. I’m sure the buyers are excited about being able to get into their new home earlier than was originally planned, and luckily this cold snap should be finished after tomorrow.

A delightful young gentleman stopped by this afternoon to drop off his earnest check on the home he purchased this past weekend, and after visiting with him for a few minutes, I could tell he’s exceptionally excited about it, but before he left, I said, “Knowing how well that home has been maintained, I can assure you that going forward in time, if you continue to take care of it, it’ll most certainly take care of you.” Yes, I’ll indeed be wishing him all the best.

I watched just a few short news feeds regarding the swearing in of our new POTUS, which brought to mind something my mother would say on occasion which went, “I hope they all get what they truly deserve, and if not in this life, it’ll certainly be in the next.” Yes, I’m just gonna quietly set back and watch all the dramas unfold.

With having some free time this afternoon, I started reading a book I was gifted for Christmas, and the person who gave it to me, said I’d likely be brought up to speed regarding all the coverups that’ve been taking place since before WWII regarding UFO sightings and alien encounters.

Well, I’m about 30 pages into it, and already getting the creeps over what I’ve always believed regarding non-human life forms having visited our earth, but when reading about fully documented happenings around the globe, I’d say our government’s been very diligent over these past decades in keeping it out of the news. Now that my curiosity has been piqued, I’ll definitely make time to finish reading it. The name of the book is ‘Imminent’ and written by Luis Elizondo, so if you’re also curious about those many once heavily guarded files, give his book a good read. I’m sure going forward, you’ll be looking at our world a wee bit differently.

I received a late afternoon text from the Pastor I’m supposed to meet with tomorrow morning, asking if I was free to play for their Service this coming Sunday, so I sent a text back saying I’d be available. I guess there’ll be some fast-tracking on my part to get comfortable with their organ, along with familiarizing myself with their order of Service.

Before heading home, I purposely checked on several vacant homes, just to make sure their furnaces were running properly. I did get a call from a tenant saying his furnace wasn’t working, but at least the new HVAC company I’ve recently started using, had time to go and get it up and running more sooner than later. Oh how I do hate winter days like these because they always seem to create furnace problems at the absolute worst time.
