Oh wouldn’t it be perfect world for some of the fortunate homeowners who have large parcels of land close to the downtown to start selling home grown veggies and fruits to the farmer’s markets?
I just listed an in-town acreage today that offers all of that and more. Now don’t shy away from the age. The home was built in 1900 but it has indeed been meticulously cared for all of the years it has been standing. I didn’t tell the owners this today, but when I was a very young child my parents used to take us to visit my grandmother. She lived in River Heights. Most of the young don’t know of this subdivision. Well, it’s about as centrally located as you can get in Mason City proper. In driving there, I remember so many times looking at this home and its big yard and admiring how well it was maintained. That was so terribly many years ago. Believe it or not, it’s even better now. The owners have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars in bringing the home up to today’s standards. I can imagine how much they spent on the basement alone, not to mention the monster garage that they built that offers even a walk-up attic. I could go on and on for hours about this delightful home but you will have to experience this home-site for yourself…the opportunities are endless. Click on the link here and take a peek.
