It was definitely a day to remember after getting an unexpected visit from a long-time client of mine who had very sad news to share about some unfortunate happenings taking place in his family. About all I could do was listen and make a few suggestions regarding the direction he may want to take. That whole conversation ended up opening some closed memory doors, but at least having already been thru what he’s now facing, I’m hoping what advice I’d given him was of some help. Life transitions can certainly be heartbreaking at times.
I was quick to return a call which I’d missed last night to a gentleman I’d become acquainted with over these recent months, just to share some additional information I’d come by since we last spoke. Of course we’re both of the same mindset that there are certain people whom a person believes they know, but really not, because I believe a person’s true character isn’t fully revealed until they’re faced with a reality of not getting what they want. Yes, at times their words and actions can be most unbecoming, which ends up permanently souring a person’s once good impression of them. Like my mother used to say, “To think ill of someone is bad enough, but to verbalize it, makes a situation a hundred times worse.” Yes, we must work all the harder at not to be putting such garbage out into the universe than there already is.
The remainder of my day, was focused on getting over to meet with the sellers of an absolutely delightful home located at 1551 N. Rhode Island which in my opinion, is the best of the best in its price range, and once I had all the documents filled out and signed, I proceeded to get as many photos taken as possible. Because it offers many more extras than you’d normally find in 1,500+ sqft. ranch home, I decided to clip and paste the remarks in the following paragraph, along with creating a slide show for it if you’ve clicked on tonight’s photo. We have it listed at $219K which I believe to be a bargain price for those who’re looking for condition, quality and location all wrapped up in one. By the way, it’s only a short walk to Harding School and the Highland Golf Course.
